Inspiring Women Workshop

This week Year 2 got an opportunity to learn all about inspiring women and their stories.

On Thursday morning Year 2 had an amazing workshop about inspiring women, we had a super time learning about some truly remarkable figures from history. We explored the stories of Hera, Frida Kahlo, Edith Cavell, Amelia Earhart, and Rosa Parks.

Each woman inspired us in different ways, from standing up for others to expressing ourselves through art and even soaring through the skies! We had so much fun campaigning for rights, painting powerful portraits, and pretending to fly a plane like Amelia. It was a fun and empowering session full of learning, creativity, and courage.
