Chair of Governors

The School is looking to appoint a Chair of Governors to take over from Liz Buckley who will step down in July 2025. It is hoped that the new Chair will
be able to join the Governing Body in the spring of 2025 to allow some handover.

Education Governor

We are seeking to appoint a governor with a broad range of experience and interest in education.

Gap Year Assistant

We are always on the lookout for enthusiastic Gap Year students (ie. between school and university) who would like to work at Finton House School for two-three terms. Please indicate which term(s) you would be interested in working in on your application (ie. Autumn and Spring Term or Spring and Summer Term).

The amendments to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 (Exceptions) Order 1975 (2013 and 2020) provides that when applying for certain jobs and activities, certain convictions and cautions are considered ‘protected’. This means that they do not need to be disclosed to employers, and if they are disclosed, employers cannot take them into account.
