Our underground facilities are spacious and make innovative use of space in order to expand without taking valuable playground space.
There are specialist classrooms for science, design and technology and music. The glass-lined stairwell decorated with trees, directs natural light into the underground classrooms.
Boys and girls play a wide range of team sports, using a variety of excellent local facilities including private playing fields which are only a short walk away.
With the help of Hornsby House, Finton House has supported the Trinity Fields Trust (TFT) to secure the three-hectare sports field for sport for a further 50 years. The playing fields are of benefit to the wider community including sports clubs and other local schools.
Finton House has also teamed up with All Star Tennis to fund the creation of all-weather pitches for hockey in 2017. Tooting Hard Courts provide great facilities for local residents and our own hockey teams.
Our library on the first floor is the perfect place to get inspired and foster a love of reading. Children love visiting the library for storytime with the librarian and to read new exciting stories.
The art room was refurbished in 2015 to create an open-plan space with breakout zones to foster one’s creativity. The doodle den is a much-loved corner where children can snuggle up and work on their masterpieces.
All year groups visit the specialist computing suite to enhance their IT understanding through interactive programs and teach them about how to keep safe online. Classroom learning includes the use of iPads and laptops to enable children to access online learning resources.
