International Day at Finton was a celebration of culture, food and style from all around the world.
Last Friday both the children and staff of Finton House came into school in outfits from all over the world and were given the opportunity to try foods from different countries. Many parents of the school very generously prepared an international food market, whereby each year group were invited to pass through the market and select from a wide array of options.
We had food from Italy, South Korea, Iran, Portugal and Germany just to name a few. The children enjoyed the food together and were very excited about trying foods they may have never tried before.
Overall, the day was a fantastic display of multiculturalism that the children displayed with pride and enthusiasm.
