History

Finton House Educational Trust was founded in 1987 by Heads Terry O’Neill and Finola Stack. They were generously supported by four families, the Mackenzie-Charringtons, the Macmillans, the Thomsons, and the Nunneleys, who provided financial support and expert advice in setting up the school and moving it from Balham Leisure Centre to its current premises at 171 Trinity Road. The four School Houses are named after them.
