Register Now

Reception Entry: Children start school in September after they turn four.  To register your child, please visit our admissions site where you will be prompted to complete a registration form and pay a registration fee of £100 for each child. Once payment has been made, places are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis from birth and there is no assessment or interview process for Reception entry. We offer up to 60 places each year (50% girls, 50% boys).

Early registration is advised to secure a place and you will be added to either Finton’s Entrance or Reserve List.  The Entrance List comprises of 2 children for every place, and once the Entrance List has been filled, subsequent applicants are placed on a Reserve List. Current siblings, staff children and Old-Fintonians have priority entry to Reception.

Offer Process: Reception places are offered 18 months prior to the year of entry, and a deposit of £2,500 will be required to secure your place at Finton House.  If you decide to withdraw your place, this deposit will not be refunded.

Occasional Vacancies: A few places may be available for entry into Finton House for Years 1 to 5, including entry mid-year.  Typically, these children will be invited to attend an individual assessment and join a class of the appropriate age for lessons, playtime and lunch over the course of a day.  Please contact the Registrar for more information regarding availability of places.
