IDPE Fundraising Achievement

Finton House has been shortlisted for the 2025 IDPE Development Awards in the Fundraising Campaign of the Year (5 years or less) category!

We are delighted to have been shortlisted for this year’s IDPE Development Awards, in the Fundraising campaign of the year (5 years or less) category. This year has been a landmark one for Finton House School, defined by record-breaking generosity and inspiring community spirit. In 2024–25, we raised £214,000, the highest total in the School’s history. Alongside this, we successfully introduced Gift Aid, unlocking £41,000 in backdated funds. A highlight of the year was the introduction of innovative fundraising initiatives. The Bedside Banquet brought creativity and compassion to St George’s Hospital, with a renowned chef transforming a hospital menu into fine cuisine. Parents also demonstrated extraordinary commitment by climbing Galdhøpiggen, Norway’s highest mountain, in support of our Bursary Programme. Finton pupils showed their support by tracking the climb’s steps on a treadmill in the playground, sharing in the journey and inspiring the community. Beyond the numbers, our partnerships programme continued to flourish. We supported Foodbank Wandsworth, Little Village, Tom’s Farm Wandsworth, Trinity Fields Trust, St George’s Hospital, and Trinity Chapel. Our new partnership with Home-Start UK involves Finton parents coming together with local Home-Start families, sharing the safe and nurturing space of Finton’s Secret Garden at Trinity Fields. These initiatives demonstrate that philanthropy at Finton is about more than financial contributions, it is about giving time, care, and energy to create lasting change.
