Finton Rushes to Aid Local Families

The Finton Family was quick to respond to an urgent appeal from Wandsworth Foodbank this week.

On Wednesday, we alerted the Finton Family that Wandsworth Foodbank had shared an urgent plea for food on their social media. An emergency collection was soon organised for Friday here at the school. We were simply overwhelmed by the response from our families in support of our local community. In just two days, we collected a substantial amount of donations which were kindly driven to the Foodbank hub by one of our parents, Greg Lake.

Pat Gabriel, from Wandsworth Foodbank, said “Thank you so much for your energetic support for the foodbank and our neighbours. We are grateful.”
