Finton’s Wind & Brass Band Perform at Mayor’s Charity Gala

Finton’s Wind & Brass Band, led by Miss Maria (Head of Music), performed at the Mayor’s Charity Gala at Wandsworth Civic Suite this week.

The Band’s performance was alongside other school bands, choirs and ensembles from around Wandsworth. Miss Maria said, “I am very impressed with the dedication and excitement that all the

players have shown during the past few weeks in preparation for the concert, as well as how admirably they represented Finton and showcased our Finton goals on the day! Playing in an ensemble is a great skill and Finton’s Wind & Brass Band is a great example of amazing teamwork in action!

This wonderful event came just after the success of the Year 5 concert on Monday night, during which an impressive 30 instrumentalists and 18 readers wowed the audience, including a special performance from Signing Club.
