Healthy Eating

At Finton House, children are encouraged to try a variety of foods and there is always plenty of choice available. Special diets are catered for. At break children can enjoy a choice of fresh fruit or a home made snack such as a scone, flapjack, croissant or smoothie.

All menus are nut free, and organic ingredients have been sourced where possible. A variety of main dishes is offered every day, and there is a salad bar, a choice of desserts, fresh fruit and cheese and biscuits. Children are offered water to drink with their meal. Our cooks, kitchen staff and teachers are on hand to assist children with their choices, and are vigilant in ensuring every child eats a healthy, balanced meal.

There are two menus for each term which are rotated weekly. Click on the links below to view the menus for the Spring Term 2013.
